My kind of shopping

Caronport is a great place for someone who likes simple living! I believe that very few things in life need to be bought new. Well, with the exception of things like toothbrushes and underwear! Caronport has a great little secondhand shop called The Clothes Closet. It is mostly clothes, and even has separate rooms for men, women and children. You also might find children's toys, household items, games, or books. And everything is only 25 cents! I once saw they even had a baby changing table in there--again, for only 25 cents. This week they even had a 2 for 1 sale--so I got a whole pile of clothes and the bill came to $1.75. Definitely my kind of shopping!

With the exchange rate, you really made out!

woohoo!

I wonder how they can stay in business though?

Yeah, it's a great place! Grandma Koster would love it, that's for sure.

They stay in business because everything is donated and they just use an unused part of the ice rink for the facilities.

I'm all about used clothing, I even just bought myself 2 pairs of jeans at goodwill :) A lot of local schools and churches have children's used clothing and toy sales and I always go if we need stuff. It's not as cheap as 25 cents a piece but definitely cheaper than the stores. I get great stuff for little money and I also don't worry so much about the kids getting stains or dirt on stuff since it was cheap anyway!

Exactly Amy! It's just not a big deal if it gets ruined when you paid so little.
