Interesting article on the Macleans website about the results of a poll conducted with people from several nations, including Canada. 91% of the Americans surveyed thought they would have a better quality of life in Canada.
Those of you who aren't from Canada, do you think you'd have a better quality of life here than in the country where you live? In what ways? Canadians, do you think you have a good quality of life?
Three ways, not just two

Although France is a nice country, life has gotten pretty hard these last few years. Prices skyrocketed after the Euro, it's virtually impossible to find a place to live (1 square meter in Paris sells for EUR 5000!!!) and young people aren't given a chance when it comes to employment.
So yeah, I still like France, to a certain extend, but my life is much easier in Canada, and I have a lot of opportunities here.
I like Canadians too... the society is equal, modern and pretty quiet, in a way that people try to improve but they don't riot all the time or shoot each other.
Me like :$
pretty interesting article.....
We have been living here (Canada) less than 2 weeks and we already have a better life than back in Venezuela!
We don't have a job yet and God willing we'll have a home next week, but the most important is that we can buy more for our money here and that we can go to the supermarket and buy milk among other things.
We couldn't find milk in Venezuela and if you did, you could buy just 1 liter per person. We couldn't find toilet paper, or eggs, or sugar, or beans, or cooking oil, or a lot of stuff that you really need in your life. Unfortunely we left our families there, but yes, we are getting a better life here.
